No. The mat uses phase-change gel that absorbs body heat automatically. Just take it out of the box and it works immediately — no setup at all.
The mat stays cool while your pet is on it (typically 2–4 hours). When your pet steps away, the mat recharges in 15–20 minutes on its own.
Use your pet's weight: XS/S for up to 6kg, M for 6–15kg, L for 15–25kg, XL for 25–40kg, 2XL for over 40kg. If unsure, go one size up.
The mat is made with non-toxic, pet-safe materials. However, the gel inside shouldn't be ingested, so it's not recommended for pets that habitually chew and destroy things.
Simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Fully waterproof — does not absorb liquids. Do not machine wash.
